.NET is Europe's quietest large market. The roles sit disproportionately in established companies — insurance, logistics, industrial software, public-sector suppliers — rather than in the venture-funded startups that dominate job-board front pages, so the openings are less visible and the applicant pools are smaller. The catch is the version spread: a posting saying ".NET" may mean modern .NET 8 on Linux containers or a Framework 4.8 codebase nobody has moved yet, and that is worth establishing before you apply, not after.
