Why this is worth thirty seconds

A posting with no number is asking you to spend several hours before finding out whether the role is within range at all. Asking for the range in your first reply costs nothing and ends the process early when the answer is far off — which is the outcome you want, just sooner.

What it is not: a salary estimate. We do not guess what a role pays, and a tool that told you would be guessing. This reports the figures the posting itself states. Small amounts are filtered out, but a large training or equipment budget can still look like a salary — check which figure is which.
